Description
No. 90 Seymour Street is a terraced "4th rate" house built around 1828-1830 as part of the early Bishop of London's Estate development linked to Connaught Square. The building features a stucco facade with a channelled ground floor and a slate roof. It stands three storeys high with a basement and is one window wide.
To the right is a square-headed doorway that includes a panelled door and a fanlight above. The ground floor has a recessed segmental arched glazing bar sash window set within a similarly arched panel. The upper floors have recessed glazing bar sash windows framed by moulded architraves, with the first-floor window featuring a patterned blind box.
The building is topped with a parapet that has coping and is adorned with elaborately patterned cast iron railings. Additionally, there is a cast iron geometric patterned balcony at the first-floor window and cast iron area railings with urn finials.
