Description

A row of four terraced houses, numbers 165 to 169 Porchester Terrace North, dates to around 1860. The houses are constructed of stucco, with the roof hidden from view. They are four storeys high and have a basement. Each house has two windows across its front. The ground floor features channelled detailing. Projecting Doric porches with solid sides and round-headed windows are present. A continuous bombé balcony runs along the first floor. The windows have square heads, and the architraves above the ground floor are detailed with an egg and dart pattern. They are sash windows with plate glass. A decorative band sits above the second floor, and a cornice is situated above the third floor. Cast iron area railings are also present.
