Description
Nos 47 and 49 Grove End Road are a pair of semidetached houses built around 1840. They are constructed of stucco and have two storeys plus a basement. The houses feature one main window width with a blind bay recessed on each side, and they have projecting pedimented entrances at the ends. The windows are square-headed with architraves and cornices on the ground floor, and they contain sash windows with glazing bars. Above the first floor, there is a main cornice with a pediment over the central bays, which encloses a large thermal window with narrow arched leaded lights. The roof is not visible.
