Description
Abbey Road Baptist Church is a church built in the later 19th century by the architects Habershon and Pite. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a pitched slate roof that extends to the eaves. The church is designed in a Free Byzantine style, with an apsidal facade facing Abbey Road that consists of seven bays. This includes a central apse with a gabled entrance featuring three arches and intricately carved capitals. The facade is adorned with Lombard bands and corbel tables at the porch and eaves. There are two tiers of round-headed paired windows, each with a stone keystone and cast iron columns between the lights. A prominent wheel window is located at the upper center of the west facade. The interior has not been inspected.
