Description

Nos 1 to 4 White Horse Street are terraced houses with shops, built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of yellow brick and topped with slate roofs, rising to four storeys. Nos 1 and 2 each have three windows, while Nos 3 and 4 have two windows each. The shop fronts are plain and date from the early to mid-19th century, featuring semicircular arched doorways at Nos 1 and 2. The upper floors are adorned with recessed sash windows that have no glazing bars, all set beneath flat gauged brick arches. There is a band course below the second floor and parapets with coping at the top.
