Description

CITY OF WESTMINSTER GREAT TITCHFIELD STREET, W1 46/10 W1 14.1.70 No. 93 GV II Terrace house. Late Cl8. Stock brick with stuccoed ground floor, slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 3 windows wide. Ground floor wide semicircular arched doorway to left with 6 panel door in architrave flanked by side lights, reeded door head and patterned fanlight overall. Recessed sashes in stucco architraves, those on 1st floor with rosette friezes and bracketed cornices, the central window with segmental pediment. 1st floor plat band with early C19 stucco panel above inscribed "PORTLAND CHAMBERS". Stucco modillion cornice below attic storey. Wrought iron area railings with urn finials. Interior features very little altered including cornice mouldings, some delicate plasterwork to ceilings, chimneypieces and geometrical staircase with plain wrought iron balustrade scrolled to foot.
