Description

This is a late 18th-century terrace house located on Great Titchfield Street in Westminster. It is one of a group of similar buildings, numbered 95 to 101 (odd). The house is constructed of stock brick with a stucco ground floor, topped with a slate roof. It has four storeys and a basement, and is three windows wide. A doorway on the left has a six-panel door and a rectangular fanlight within an architrave surround. The windows are recessed sash windows, set within stucco architraves. The attic windows have flat, red brick, gauged arches. The first-floor windows are accentuated by bracketed cornices, with a pediment over the central window. An uninscribed stucco panel is set within the first-floor architrave. The house has a stucco modillion cornice above the second floor, which extends continuously to numbers 97 to 101 (odd), as is the parapet coping. Cast iron area railings with spearheads are present.
