Description

TQ 2782 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER PARK ROAD, NW1 34/10 (East side) 14-11.85 Nos 76 to 96 (even) G.V. II Terrace of houses with shops. c1822-30, Crown Estate development. Stock brick with painted wood shop fronts; concealed slate roofs. 3 storeys. 2-window wide fronts. Mostly pilastered shop fronts with square headed house doorways to left with panelled doors and fanlights; shop doors panelled and glazed to right, some altered; No 92 has projecting shop window with large panes; all are set under narrow entablature-fascias, with in-swept frieze at No 82; No 88 has cast iron crocketed finials over consoles flanking fascia. Upper floors have recessed sashes, most with glazing bars, under flat gauged arches. Stone coped parapet.
