Description

Nos 28 to 30 Sussex Place are terraced houses built around 1823. They are finished in stucco and topped with slate roofs. These houses are considered 4th rate and are located behind the main Sussex Place terrace, built back to back with Nos 38-42 Park Road. The buildings rise three storeys and feature dormered mansards. Each house has a segmental bowed front that is two windows wide. To the right, there are semi-circular arched doorways with panelled doors and fanlights; No 30 has a radial pattern in its fanlight. The windows are recessed sashes, most of which have glazing bars. No 28 includes a small later conservatory that projects over the entrance. A continuous balcony spans the first floor, and there is a parapet with coping at the top.
