Description
Nos 17 and 18 Bolton Street are terraced houses built in the late 18th century. They feature reddened brick and slate roofs. No 17 has three storeys, while No 18 has four storeys, both with basements and dormered mansards. Each house has a two-window wide front. The doorways, located to the right of each front, are semicircular arched with plastered jambs that support entablature heads above panelled doors and radial glazed fanlights. The recessed glazing bar sash windows are situated under flat gauged arches. No 17 has a stucco plat band on the first floor. Both houses are adorned with geometric patterned cast iron balconies across the first floor and have cast iron area railings topped with urn finials.
