Terrace house. Late C18/early C19 with alterations. Darkened brick, stuccoed ground floor, slate roof. 4 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 2 windows wide. Doorway to left, semicircular arched with pilastered jambs and fanlight; ground floor windows altered. Upper floors have recessed glazing bar sashes under flat gauged brick arches. 1st floor stucco plat band and stucco band cornice to parapet with coping. Cast iron balconettes to 1st floor. Cast iron area railings. Interior has c. 1800 staircase with carved tread ends, square balusters, dado; ground floor rooms retain cornices, moulded friezes, alcoves flanking chimney breast. The rear room bow ended. The 1st floor was completely refurbished c.1900 in Rococo style; walls, doors and ceiling with coved cornice all decorated with raised border, shaped panels with flowers, fruit, ribbon and musical trophies of varied design; cast iron chimney piece of same period.
