Description

This is a pair of late 18th-century terrace houses located at 33 and 34 Clarges Street, London. The buildings are constructed of brown brick with a slate roof. They are four storeys high with basements; number 34 has a dormered mansard roof. Each house has three windows across the front. Doorways are situated to the left of each facade, featuring semicircular arched heads with vermiculated Coade rustications and heads carved on the key blocks. The windows are revealed sash windows without glazing bars, set within flat gauged arches, and have a sill band on the first floor. A parapet with coping runs along the top of the buildings, and wrought iron area railings are present.
