Description
This building is part of Fleming's Hotel, consisting of a row of terrace houses built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made for hotel use. The structure is made of brown brick, featuring stuccoed ground floors and slate roofs. It stands four storeys high, with basements and dormered mansards. Each house has a front that is two windows wide, although the doorways have been altered, with two of them adapted as windows. The windows are revealed sash types, lacking glazing bars, and are set under flat gauged arches. There is a continuous plat band at the second floor and a cornice at the third floor level. A cast iron balcony, dating from around 1800, spans the first floors of Nos 9 and 10, while Nos 11 and 12 have cast iron window guards on the first floor.
