Description
Nos 7 and 8 Half Moon Street are a pair of terrace houses built in the mid to late 18th century, with some alterations from the late 19th century. They are constructed of brown brick and feature slate roofs. The buildings rise four storeys, including a basement and a mansard roof, with No 7 being two windows wide and No 8 three windows wide. Each house has square-headed doorways on either side, while the ground floor windows have been altered. The upper floors have revealed sash windows without glazing bars, set beneath flat gauged arches. There is a frieze and cornice above the second floor, along with a crowning cornice and blocking course. Notably, No 7 features a cast iron balcony dating from around 1800 across the first floor, and both houses have cast iron area railings.
