Description
No. 14 Bolton Street is a terrace house dating from the late 18th century, with some alterations from the 19th century. The building is finished in stucco and has a concealed roof. It stands four storeys tall, plus a basement, and is three windows wide. The ground floor features channelled work, a round-headed fanlight doorway to the left, and two flat-arched recessed sash windows without glazing bars, with the channelling continuing to the arches. The upper floors have recessed sash windows, also without glazing bars, set under flat arches. The first-floor windows are adorned with architraves and alternating pediments, while the second-floor windows have cornices. A main modillion cornice runs above the second floor, and there is a coped parapet over the attic storey. A patterned cast iron balcony spans the first floor, and there are wrought iron area railings with finials.
