Description
No. 23 Beak Street is a terrace house built in the early 19th century. It features multi-coloured stock brick and a slate roof, standing four storeys tall and two windows wide. The ground floor has an early 19th-century wooden shop front with a small pane window, flanked by a house door and a shop door, both of which are panelled and have decorated fanlights under flat arches. These entrances are approached by steps and framed by pilasters that support an entablature. The upper floors have recessed sash windows without glazing bars, set under gauged flat arches. The parapet has coping, and the first-floor windows are adorned with original cast iron patterned balconettes.
