Description

The William Pitt Byrne Memorial Fountain is a memorial drinking fountain located at the south end of Bryanston Square garden in the City of Westminster. It was erected in 1862 and is made of painted stone. The fountain features a heaped 'rock' rubble base leading up to a shell basin. From this basin rises the main fountain, which consists of an acanthus leaf plinth supporting a bombe-faced pedestal with angle consoles, topped by a crowning urn finial.
