TQ 2781 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER GREAT CUMBERLAND PLACE, Wl 54/39 14.1.70 No. 51 G.V. II Terraced town house. c.1800-20 Portman Estate development. Stock brick with stucco banded rustication to ground floor; concealed slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 4 windows wide. Semicircular arched doorway to left framed by stucco Doric engaged columns carrying entablature with dentil cornice; panelled door, Greek fret ornament to doorhead and patterned fanlight. Recessed sashes under flat gauged arches. Plat band finishing off ground floor stuccowork. Parapet with stone coping. Original, cast iron, geometric patterned balcony across 1st floor. Cast iron area railings with urn finials.
