Description
No. 14 Chesterfield Street is a mid-18th century terrace house. It is constructed of brown brick with a stuccoed ground floor and has a slate roof. The building stands four storeys tall, including a basement and a dormered mansard roof. It is two windows wide, with a doorway on the right that features a moulded cornice supported by console brackets. The revealed sash windows, which lack glazing bars, have been altered on the ground floor in the early 20th century and are situated under flat gauged arches. The building has a parapet with coping and features cast iron balconettes from the late 18th or early 19th century on the first floor, along with cast iron area railings.
