Description
No. 10 Wimpole Street is a terrace house built in the late 18th century. It features a brown brick and stucco exterior with a slate roof. The building has four storeys, a basement, and a dormered mansard roof. It is three windows wide, with the entrance located to the left of the ground floor. The entrance is framed by a stucco architrave that includes a pulvinated frieze and a cornice, supported by a Doric columned porch from the early 19th century. The windows are revealed sashes with later 19th-century glazing, set under flat gauged arches. A block bracketed cornice is present at the third floor level, and there is a parapet with coping at the top.
