Description
No. 35 Queen Anne Street is a terraced town house built in the 1760s as part of the Portland Estate development. The building is constructed of stock brick with a channelled stuccoed ground floor and features a slate roof. It has four storeys and a dormered mansard above a basement, with three windows across the front.
The central entrance is a semicircular arched doorway that includes a panelled door and fanlight, framed by channelled pilasters topped with triglyphed dosserets and an open pediment above the arch. The upper floors have recessed sash windows beneath flat gauged arches. There is a plat band above the ground floor stuccowork, and a bracketed cornice over the second floor. The first floor features geometric patterned cast iron balconettes, and the area railings are adorned with flambé urn finials. The interior has not been inspected.
