Description
No 28 is a terraced town house located on Queen Anne Street, built around 1770 with early to mid 19th century alterations as part of the Portland Estate development. The building is constructed of stock brick with a channelled stuccoed ground floor and features a slate roof. It has four storeys and a basement, with a width of two windows.
To the right, there is a segmental arched doorway that includes a panelled door, sidelights, and a patterned fanlight. The windows are recessed sashes set within stucco architraves. A plat band finishes off the ground floor stuccowork, while a crowning stucco cornice and blocking course complete the top of the building. A cast iron bowed balconette is present on the first floor, along with cast iron plumbed spike area railings. The interior has not been inspected.
