Description

A pair of lamp standards flanking the entrance to numbers 15 and 17 on Charlotte Street, built around 1880, are made of cast iron. They feature a pyramidal square pedestal and octagonal shafts topped with large hexagonal lanterns that have finials. These lamp standards are an ornate example used to indicate and publicise a commercial establishment.
