Description
Nos 26-30 Craven Road is a terrace building, now functioning as a hotel, dating from the 1850s. It is constructed of brick, with stuccoed and channelled detailing on the ground floor. The building rises four storeys and features a tall attic. The central section has two bays that project forward, flanked by three-bay wings. Quoins are present at the corners and at the break in the façade. A 20th-century entrance is located to the right, while a round-arched carriageway is positioned to the left. The first floor has 20th-century windows, with sashes and glazing bars above. Throughout the building, there are architraves, and the first-floor windows are topped with hoods. A dentil and modillion cornice completes the design.
