Description
TQ 2780 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER HYDE PARK, W2 77/3 Magazine Cottage (Late Ordnance Lodge) GV II Estate cottage type. Mid C19. Stock brick with stone dressings, slate roof. Jacobethan after Loudon. 2 storeys. 3 windows wide with slight asymmetry. Central entrance porch with 4-centred arch and weather-coped parapet. Canted stone mullioned window to left with Tudor arched lights, 2-light mullioned window on 1st floor and parapet raised-in gable above. To right hand there is a 3-light stone mullioned window with a 2-light gabled window above. The steep gable end slate roof has fleur-de-lis ridge tile cresting.
