Description

Ranger's Cottage is an estate cottage built around 1830. It is constructed of stock brick and has a slate roof. The building is a single-storey range with cross wings and is eight windows wide. There is an off-centre entrance on the right, featuring a panelled door and a fanlight set under a segmental gauged arch. The windows are recessed glazing bar sash windows, also with segmental arches. The roofs are hipped and low-pitched, with overhanging eaves, and there are corniced brick chimney stacks. This cottage is included in the listing for its group value only.
