Description
Abbey Garden is a mid-19th century estate cottage that stands two storeys tall with a symmetrical plan and a rear wing. It is constructed of gault brick and features slate roofs with parapet gables, stone copings, and finials. The building has a dentil brick eaves cornice and three stacks with tall diagonal shafts. The open porch at the front has a parapet gable and a four-centred moulded stone arch, along with a single light window that has chamfered reveals and a recessed panel above. On either side of the porch, there are two flanking 2-light casement windows that include geometric patterned glazing bars and brick hood moulds.
