Description

No 8 Church Green is a mid-19th century estate cottage that stands one and a half storeys tall with a symmetrical facade. It is constructed of yellow brick and features a plain tile roof with a square central ridge stack. The cottage has decorated barge boards and finials on the end gables and the facade gables, which house two casement windows. At the ground floor, there are two three-light casement windows with glazing bars. The building also has rusticated brick quoins and a side entrance that includes a plank door with a plain rectangular fanlight. This cottage is noted for its position on the green.
