Description

This is a mid-19th century public house situated on a corner location. Constructed of gault brick, it has a hipped slate roof with end stacks. The building is two storeys high. The first floor has three recessed sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor features three larger sash windows with margin lights. The main entrance, located at the corner, is set within a round-headed arch containing a plain fanlight and a panelled door. Above the door, a sash window is shaped to match the round-headed arch and has glazing bars. The building is also listed for its prominent position facing the corner of Church Green.
