Description
No. 108 High Street is an early 19th-century double fronted house featuring three bays, with a slightly projecting central bay. It is constructed of gault brick and stands two storeys tall beneath a low pitched, hipped slate roof. The house has two symmetrical stacks with square shafts and common entablatures, and the eaves are boarded.
On the first floor, there are three hung sash windows with glazing bars, set in cambered gauged brick arches. The centre window includes a cast iron balconette. Flanking this window are two similar but larger windows, alongside a double recessed round-headed arched doorway. This doorway features two panelled double doors and a round-headed fanlight with glazing bars. A band runs between the floors.
