Description
This is a long range of two shops, dating back to the 18th century, although it has undergone significant alterations. A 18th-century cottage is attached to the east. The building is two storeys high, constructed of brick with roughcast rendering. It has a steeply pitched plain tile roof, featuring some 17th-century ridge tiles and a single medieval louvre pot, which was reused from a different location. Modern windows and doors are present, along with 19th-century shop windows and a glazed panelled door to the west. The medieval louvre pot may have been salvaged from buildings destroyed in the 1731 fire, as recorded in Ramsey Parish registers.
