Description

Nos 79 and 81 High Street is an early 15th-century hall house with two bays. It is timber-framed and features an original crown-post roof. The building has two storeys and a 19th-century painted brick facade, which includes corbelled eaves, two modern shop windows, and a central doorway with a cambered arch. This structure is one of seven surviving medieval town buildings and was originally part of a common facade with No 83.
