Description

59 High Street is an early 19th-century shop featuring a cartway to the west. The building has two storeys and is constructed of local gault brick with a plain tile roof. It includes a dentil brick cornice and one dormer window fitted with horizontal sliding sashes. The first floor has a canted bay window with a lead roof, alongside four hung sash windows that have glazing bars. There is a modern shop window at the front. The rear wing has been altered and also has two storeys, built of local brick with a plain tile roof. It features two dormer windows and two hung sash windows with glazing bars set in flush wooden frames.
