Description

TQ 3081 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER FLORAL STREET, WC2 59/21 15.1.73 Nos 46 and 47 G.V. II Pair of end of terrace houses with shop. c1830. Blackened brick, stucco ground floor, slate roof. 3 storeys and dormered mansard. One window each to Floral Street, No 47 with 3-window return to Hanover Place. No 46 has house doorway to left, square headed with recessed panelled door and fanlight. Painted wood double shop front with corner entrance and pilasters carrying entablature-fascia with dentil cornice. Shop windows and doorway replaced by later C20 sashes. Upper floors have recessed glazing bar sashes under shallow segmental gauged arches, dressed with stucco as voussoirs with central key block. Stone sill bands and parapet coping.
