Hospital. 1894-8 with northern addition of 1909-10 Alfred and Paul Waterhouse. Red brick stone dressings. Pitched tiled roof. Free Flemish manner. 4 storeys and attic. 16 bays with windows grouped in pairs. Symmetrical with centre 4 bays set forward. These 12 end bays with gabled attics. Entrance to left with segmental hood. Windows square headed except to ground floor centre, these large semicircular in form, flanked by paired Ionic pilasters. Sashes to ground and first floors. Margin glazing. Mullioned windows to second and third floors. Second floor windows, within arched reveals. End pairs of bays united with semicircular bay windows from ground to second floors. Sunk parapet. Return to right having bay windows with turrets. Wrought iron area railings. Interior not inspected.
