Description

TQ 2880 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER HERTFORD STREET Wl 80/106 Nos 45 and 46 14.1.70 - II Terraced town houses. 1767. Brown brick with stuccoed ground floors, slate roofs. 4 storeys, basements and dormered mansards. Each front 3 windows wide. Doorways to right and left respectively, 6-panel doors with patterned segmental fanlights, No 45 with coved reveals, No 46 with stone obelisk piers flanking entrance. Revealed sash windows, no glazing bars, under flat gauged arches. Bracketed stone cornice over 2nd floor, parapet with coping. Wrought iron area railings. No 45 was the home of the carver, Joseph Crawford.
