Description

This is a terrace of houses built in the 1850s. It is located on the south-east side of Craven Road, London. The building is constructed of brick, with some areas stuccoed, and the ground floor is channelled. It is four storeys high and consists of a five-bay central section flanked by two-bay wings that project forward, featuring rusticated quoins. The entrances are pilastered, and the windows are tripartite, with some being sash windows. A carriageway is present on the right. A dentilled cornice runs across the building. A first-floor iron balcony is visible. Casement windows are set within architraves, each under a hood supported by consoles. Above these, sash windows with glazing bars are situated in architraves with sills resting on brackets. A sill band is present on the third floor. A dentil and modillion cornice is followed by a balustraded parapet.
