Description

Numbers 1 to 5 and the Warwick Castle Public House form a mid-19th century terrace incorporating a public house. The building is constructed of brick, rendered with stucco. The roof is hidden. It stands three storeys high, with a thirteen-bay facade, the end two bays projecting, and an additional recessed bay to the left. Each house occupies two bays. The shop fronts and public house fronts are pilastered, with fascias and a dentil cornice. Above, there are twelve-pane sashes in architraves. First-floor sills and cornices are present, with pediments on corbels to the projecting bays. Scrolled iron lamp and sign brackets are attached to the public house. A dentil cornice runs along the top of the facade.
