Description
This is a pair of terrace houses located on Chesterfield Hill in London, built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed of brown brick with stuccoed ground floors, topped with slate roofs. Number 12 is five storeys high, plus a basement, while number 15 is three storeys high, with a basement and a dormered mansard roof. Each house has three windows. Number 12 features a square-headed doorway on the left, with a 19th-century bracketed cornice above. Number 15 has an architrave doorcase with a rectangular fanlight over the doorway on the right. The windows are sash windows, with some retaining original glazing bars, and are set within flat gauged arches. The buildings have parapets with copings, as well as first-floor wrought iron balconies. Late 18th-century wrought iron area railings are also present.
