Description

This is a stepped row of eight houses, numbered 1 to 8, located on Trevor Street in the City of Westminster. The houses date from the early to mid-19th century and are constructed of yellow brick, with the ground floor finished in channelled stucco. The roof is not visible. Each house has three storeys above a basement and is two windows wide. The left-hand side of each house features a panelled door set within an arched recess, topped with a patterned fanlight. The windows are mainly sash windows with gauged brick surrounds. The first floor has balconies of a "Gothic" design. The houses have parapets and area railings. They form part of a planned layout that includes the properties at 9-16 Trevor Street and Trevor Square.
