Description

This is a row of terraced houses at 4 to 16 Trevor Square, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are built of brick, with the ground floor finished in channelled stucco. They are three storeys high with a basement, although number 4 is four storeys and numbers 6 and 7 have slate mansards. Each house has a two-window front. The front doors are set within arched recesses, each with a patterned fanlight above. The windows have gauged heads; the first-floor windows are mainly casements, while the other windows are mostly sash windows. The houses have parapets, and several have first-floor balconies with a "Gothick" design. Steps lead up to the entrances, with area railings in front. These houses are an integral part of the layout of Trevor Square.
