Description

This is a stepped row of six houses, numbers 9 to 16, located on Trevor Street in Westminster. The houses date from the early to mid-19th century and are constructed of yellow brick, with the ground floor finished in channelled stucco. The roofs are largely hidden from view. Each house is three storeys high and has a basement. Numbers 9 to 12 feature mansard attics. Each house has a symmetrical facade of two windows. The left-hand side of each house has a panelled front door set within an arched recess and topped with a patterned fanlight. The windows are primarily sash windows, with retained glazing bars, set within gauged brick surrounds. First-floor balconies have decorative "Gothick" pattern parapets, and there are area railings at street level. The houses are part of a planned development that includes numbers 1-8 Trevor Street and Trevor Square.
