Description
No. 235 is a terraced house located in Knightsbridge, built in the early 19th century and partly reconstructed. It is made of brick and stucco, with a roof that is not visible. The building has four storeys, an attic, and a basement. It features three windows across the front, with the right-hand bays designed as a full-height segmental bay window. The ground floor has channelling and round-headed windows set in round-headed reveals. To the left, there is a square-headed entrance with a later doorcase. Above the ground floor, the windows are square-headed with gauged heads, which are reconstructed. The first floor has sashes with glazing bars, French casement windows, and individual wrought iron balconies featuring a Greek key pattern. The building has a parapet and is included in the listing for its group value.
