Description

A terrace of houses at 23-37 Trevor Square, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The houses are built of yellow brick with channelled stucco to the ground floor. The roof is not visible. They are arranged over three storeys and a basement. Each house is originally two windows wide, except for number 23, which has an additional bay, and number 37, which is one window wide and has an entrance on its return. Doors are set within arched recesses and have patterned fanlights above. The first floor windows are largely casements, while those on other floors are mainly sash windows with gauged brick surrounds. The first floor has "Gothic" pattern balconies, and the terrace is finished with parapets. Area railings lead up to the entrances. The terrace is part of the planned layout of Trevor Square.
