Description

No. 24 Berwick Street is a former public house built in 1826. It is constructed of stock brick and features a slate roof. The building stands three storeys tall and is three windows wide. Until 1927, it operated as the "Three Doves" public house, and the ground floor retains a simple plastered pub front with a fascia. The windows are recessed sash types without glazing bars, set under gauged flat arches. The first-floor windows are located within shallow semicircular arched panels. The building is adorned with a moulded stucco cornice and a blocking cornice, which includes a low central pedestal.
