Description
The north screen to Buckingham Palace forecourt, which includes a gateway to the gardens, was designed around 1830 by John Nash. It features a colonnade made of Bath stone and cast iron columns in the Greek Doric style. The screen has a central gateway with coupled columns, an entablature, and a balustrade that is set forward over the gateway, topped with an attic that displays carved Royal Arms.
