Description
Nos 12 to 18 on Stepney Green E1 are a late 18th century to early 19th century terrace of brown brick, featuring red brick window dressings and a coped parapet. The roof is not visible. The building stands three storeys tall with basements and has two windows on each floor. All windows are fitted with gauged flat red brick arches and painted reveals, and they are all sash windows with glazing bars; the top floor windows have only vertical glazing bars. The round-headed doorways are adorned with stucco architraves, keystones, and pilasters, and each doorway has a panelled door topped with a fanlight. Nos 2 to 18 form part of a group with Nos 19 to 23.
