Description
Nos 47 to 73 on Cyprus Street, dating from the mid-19th century, are two-storey buildings constructed of stock brick. They feature a stucco eaves cornice, a band, and a blocking course, along with a stucco band at the first-floor sill height. The window and door dressings are also stuccoed. Each building has two windows, with the first-floor windows having segmental heads and the ground-floor windows being round-arched. Most of the sash windows retain their glazing bars. The doors are set in moulded stucco surrounds with pilasters and keystones, and there are paired doorways, including a triple doorway for Nos 51 and 53, which also includes a rear passageway. Most of the doors are panelled. Nos 47 to 73 form a group with Nos 32 to 80 on the opposite side of the street.
