Description

Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church is a mid to late 19th-century building located on Victoria Park Square. It is constructed of stock brick with a white stone gabled end and is designed in the Gothic style. The church features a large west window situated above a gabled door with a gothic arch. The facade facing Old Ford Road includes a high plinth and buttresses, making it an important focal point at the corner site. The church is included for its group value, as it forms a group with The Terrace, No 5 (Nettleswell House), and Nos 15 to 21 (odd) Old Ford Road.
