Description

The Terrace is a late 18th-century building located at the corner of Old Ford Road and Victoria Park Square in Bethnal Green. It is composed of four consecutive properties. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick with a parapet featuring stone coping. The roof is not visible.

The Terrace has three storeys and originally contained two windows per property. It features recessed sash windows with glazing bars and iron balconies to the first-floor windows. Semi-circular arched doorways are present at intervals, adorned with vermiculated dressings and female masks on the keystones. The main facades overlook the grounds of Bethnal Green Museum.

The Terrace, along with No. 5 (Netteswell House) and Nos. 15 to 21 (odd numbers), forms a group with the Church and Priory of Our Lady of the Assumption in Victoria Park Square.
